Hey, I am Ash...

I started PM Collective because I saw a real need for connection in our industry , the kind that goes beyond just professional development. I wanted to create a space where property managers could come together, share openly, and actually enjoy being part of a community that gets it.

What began with a few casual coffee catchups has grown into something bigger: podcasts, dinners, relaxed learning sessions, events, and everyday conversations that remind us we’re not doing this alone.

I’ve always believed that property managers shouldn’t be competing with each other - we should be learning from each other. When we collaborate, we grow. When we support each other, the whole industry lifts.

PM Collective is about that. Real people. Real conversations. And a better future for property management, one connection at a time.

Giving is Part of the Legacy

"No one ever became poor by giving."

This quote has always resonated deeply with me. I believe that success means very little unless it’s tied to purpose—and that we all have the capacity to give, whether it’s our time, money, or energy.

Philanthropy isn’t just something I do; it’s something that fuels me. In the world of property management, giving back adds meaning, longevity, and genuine joy to the work we do.

So here’s a question for you:
What season of life are you in—and how can you give back to your community right now?

For me, that looks like:

  • Serving as a Board Member for Find Your Feet Foundation, providing grants to tenants in crisis who fall through the cracks of government support.

  • Supporting Orana House through donations, energy, and an annual charity event that funds their Housing Project for women escaping domestic violence.

Giving has shaped my career and my heart and I believe it can shape yours too.

My Other Passion: SOCO Realty

Back in 2006, I launched SOCO Realty with my brother-in-law, what started as a small idea has now grown into a thriving team of 23, managing over 1,200 properties across Perth.

We’re proud of the recognition we’ve received, including these recent awards:

  • 2026 NAFE Awards: Operational Leadership of the Year

  • 2026 Kareena Ballard Inaugral Award Winner: This award recognises an outstanding woman who has made a significant and sustained contribution to the real estate profession in Western Australia

What sets our business apart? A loyal, long-term team. A culture that people feel. And a business model that never sits still - we evolve, innovate, and lead from the front.

The family...

We spent a month travelling New York & Canada in December 2025. It was cold like they hadn't experienced, there friends were on school holidays having fun at the beach and it wasn't smiles everyday but the memories were wonderful. They talk about that trip often and ask when we are going back. We work hard for a reason, we should be enjoying the journey and not waiting for retirement or some either reason we tell ourselves. I love supporting business owners and those in property management, create a life they love. We are so lucky our industry allows for flexibility. Take advantage of it!

These kids?
They’re bursting with personality, full of attitude, and they keep me on my toes daily. The kind of strong-willed, fiercely loyal energy that can be a lot when they’re young... but I just know these traits will serve them brilliantly as adults.

They challenge me, ground me, and remind me every day why I do what I do.
